Pneumatic WASA Hammers change kinetc power into farming work at impact with the tool, and this is advantageous where a sudden force is required. However, the forming work in deeper zones is small, and the operation of deep forming is easier with a WASA Pneumatic Bench Press.
Pneumaticly controlled WASA Hammers can aperate at a pressure of 42 Psi to 142 psi and from 42 psi to 85 psi with electro-pneumatic control.
From a control screw the impact can be adjusted intinitely from the lowest to the highest value. Regulation is also possible by adjusting the stroke of the ram and by reducing of the operational air pressure. Moreover the latter is very suitable if fluctuations of the air pressure are likely.
Foundations are not required for WASA Hammers. However, to avoid excessive name it is advantageous to put these appliances on a compact base.
Special maintenance is unnecessary tor these appliances. Generally the oil fog which is conveyed by the compressed air is satisfactory. Dirt particles and water in the pneumatic tubing however, can reduce efficiency. It is therefore advisable to have an air filter, and oil fog lubricator.
Rams of WASA Hammers are protected against torsion.
The control should be subjected to the application. Therefore all types of WASA Hammers arc available in two models.
Model H with pneumatic three way hand or foot driven control valve. Model EL with electro pneumatic valve for 220 volts 50 c. The electro pneumatic valve can be operated by a hand or foot tracer. This apparatus is also available with a special control for two hand engagement.
The EL model also can ba controlled photo electrically or by other special contacts.
